Teacher Wants No Birthday Cupcakes in their Classroom

A Chicago kindergarten teacher does not like birthday cupcakes in her classroom.  In a now-viral TikTok video, Ann Brackemeyer says, "Please don't bring cupcakes. They make a ginormous mess, and the kids honestly don't eat them. The frosting gets all over, and... it's just too much for them."  Brackemeyer asks that parents send store-bought items like cookies or miniature doughnuts to make things easier.  Don't get it twisted, Ann knows how appealing cupcakes are, but she says the kids only eat the frosting.
