A British military family was told to change their son's name or get permission from Disney after their seven-year-old's passport application was rejected due to his middle name, "Skywalker." The boy's parents named him Loki Skywalker Mowbray in homage to "Star Wars" as he was born on May 4, 2017, known as "Star Wars" day. The family, planning a vacation to the Dominican Republic, faced the issue when the Home Office denied the application citing a Disney copyright on "Skywalker." After resolving the matter, the family will proceed with their travel plans.
